My wife and I recently received 30 inserts, and we are delighted by them. Each one fitted easily in the space it was made for, and we could instantly feel their effectiveness. I recently ordered 5 of your window inserts for my basement egress windows that are “exposed” to daylight. I received them today and installed them. They fit perfectly and were very easy to install. I could tell a difference as soon as I put them in! The drafty air stopped immediately! We will be ordering more for some of our “West” facing windows in the upstairs. We received and installed our 18 window inserts back in October and installed them just before the cold winter hit Downeast Maine in November. Since mid-November, it has been unusually cold here, average temperatures in December at least 5 degrees below normal. The inserts have performed wonderfully; indeed, I don't know how we could have survived in our old, un-insulated farm house without them. I've had my Windowinserts for a year now and can now give an honest review of the product. Working for a utility company, I'm always looking for energy efficient ideas and products. From my first contact with Eric, to delivery and fit, Windowinserts have surpassed my expectations. Living in a 2 story house, there used to be a distinct temperature change when walking from the kitchen into the living/dining area. Both areas have large double pane windows, and used to feel the cold radiating from the glass, but no more. We recently had a cold snap, with temperatures dropping below zero, and there's still wasn't any cold radiating from the windows. What a difference! Upon Eric's recommendation, I left the inserts in during the summer, finding it easier to cool the house as well. The inserts are holding up really well. I have used them each season for the last three winters. Although the material appears light-weight, it is actually quite sturdy. The temperature difference at the windows with the inserts is very noticeable, and the room stays much warmer than it would be otherwise.

Tried 1 window last year on a window we could not keep plastic on even with duct tape. These actually work. better. then I thought they could. Ordering the rest of Windows this year.I know they can stop a 40 mph wind

100% on website, customer service, delivery, and utility! I ordered a test insert for an old window installed in 1888. It was delivered 2 days early and packaged extremely well. I unwrapped and installed the insert in a few minutes - it fit perfectly. The view through the window remained the same and friends couldn't see anything different. I will be ordering inserts for many more windows. I am so pleased with everything about this product.

I have a smart thermostat in my bedroom that I can use to track furnace run time. The first night I installed the inserts, it was 10 degrees cooler than the night before, but the furnace ran half as often.

We purchased window Inserts for a rental property to maintain the beautiful windows in the home and to pass an inspection. The home was built in 1939 and has beautiful iron rod windows. To ensure the tenant would not be left with a drafty house, we purchased around 20 inserts. Let me start by saying the customer service is remarkable, professional, and knowledgable. My order was delivered today, right on schedule , packaged well and in perfect condition! It took me only about 5 minutes to install, they fit perfectly! I was quite impressed. I wish I had known of these a few years ago. I had some inner storms built by a local hardware, difference of night and day.

Purchased 6 inserts for three large windows, 60"x 60". Rather than repeat the superlatives of previous posts, with which I concur, I want to comment on the clarity of the view. I anticipated that there would be a reduction in the quality of the view, but it is perfect. I can't tell any difference between the windows with and without the inserts in terms of the view outside into my yard. I recommend the inserts unreservedly.

My home is a 1950s era home with original steel casement windows set in exterior brick with extruded mortar. The use of exterior storm windows would require chipping mortar to get a fit.

I found Window Inserts when looking for solutions to improve the efficiency of the windows. After speaking with Eric and another vendor, I opted for Window Inserts based upon the flexibility of white and brown inserts. The windows arrived in November. The inserts were not difficult to install as I had already removed several blinds and/or shades.

Due to the type of windows and age, the openings were each a little different in size. I needed to have three sections for the windows. This has not been an issue in looks or installation. I did discover that the window trim in the upstairs bedrooms decreased the height of the window. One window would not fit. However, Eric has been great to work with regarding getting the issue resolved.

I am waiting for a few cold nights -mid to low 20s to test my bedroom window. The inserts appear to be effective in maintaining the overall temperature in the house.

I had the good fortune to find Energysavr Window Inserts on the internet. I ordered them for my entire house, found then to be perfect fits, easy to install and remove to clean the windows. Most important is that they stopped all drafts and cold radiation from my windows to make my house more comfortable than ever. Add to that the fact that the support service was excellent and gracious. Buy them.

Two years and running. The inserts have saved me about 30-40% a year on my electric bills. The inserts are still clear and my 3y/o hasn't been able to tear one yet. Not only have they saved me money, but they show me which windows are bad, especially when the wind blows. The insert bows inward or it vibrates when the wind blows against the window, but the wind doesn't transfer into the house. I'm so glad I got these inserts they saved me thousands of dollars vs buying new windows. Before I put these inserts in I couldn't keep my thermostat on 70 in the winter because the system would not shut off and the very expensive AUX heat would cycle on and off, that doesn't happen now. I can actually set the thermostat on 69 and be comfortable at temps in the teens and the dreaded AUX heat doesn't come on. In the summer I couldn't have the tstat set on 71-72 without the unit constantly running. That doesn't happen anymore either. I can now have my stat set on 71-72 and not only doesn't it stay on, it doesn't constantly cycle on and off either. These inserts are a bargain at twice the price. Thank You guys for thinking outside the box!

Love my inserts. They work and are extremely reasonable in price. Also the customer service is impeccable. They are a godsend to anyone who wants to save on their energy bills, and so easy to install. I would rate them the highest it goes plus plus. Like 5 stars++++

Excellent product. I had a few windows in a 100-year old house that allowed some air to seep in. These inserts fit nice and snug (but not too snug) and got rid of the draft. It was really the perfect solution to my problem. And I ordered another one for my last drafty window.

It's not sales hype! These things work! Our 102 year old home has some beautiful windows that we have no intention of replacing. I ordered a full house worth Energy$avr inserts (25). They came masterfully packed and undamaged. Each one fit perfectly to the proper dimensions I provided. The wife was worried how they might look with our 1/4 sawn oak windows but they look great (we got the brown frames). I know for a fact that these will pay for themselves in short order... I woke up to 5 degrees this morning and the rooms that I had finished servicing the windows on and installing the Energy$avr inserts in were noticeably warmer. We are now using these for the fourth winter = they are fantastic!! Holding up well, Insulating great. No problems. I highly recommend these inserts!! And we live in a very cold area.
